Project Manager - Germany

Your mission Hallo und herzlich willkommen bei Sungrow! We are excited to welcome a Project Manager who will help deliver a strategic Sungrow project and connect project stakeholders, customers, and on-site teams across Germany. Curious what this is all about? Let’s dive right in: • Lead the successful delivery of a strategic Sungrow project from planning through execution and handover. • Coordinate project activities with customers, customer project managers, internal teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders. • Be present on site in the Berlin area at least two to three times per week to ensure close project alignment. • Manage project schedules, risks, quality, costs, documentation, and key milestones in line with PMO standards. • Drive clear, proactive communication and resolve project-related issues efficiently across internal and external teams. • Travel up to 50% within Germany to support site activities, customer meetings, and project delivery. Your profile • Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline. • At least five years of relevant experience in project management within solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or technical infrastructure environments. • Proven experience managing customer contracts and ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, schedules, costs, quality requirements, and contractual obligations. • Experience coordinating project activities from purchase order through delivery, commissioning, and handover. • Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, milestone tracking, quality management, reporting, and technical project documentation. • Knowledge of PV inverters is preferred; experience with energy storage systems is a strong advantage. • EPC experience, including collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and on-site teams, is preferred. • Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at C1 level, both written and spoken. • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany. • Ability to be on site in the Berlin area two to three times per week. • A valid driving licence is preferred.
